Tasting Notes: Inky purple. High-toned cherry skin and dark berry scents are complicated by suggestions of licorice, Indian spices and leather. Deeply concentrated and gains weight and spiciness on a long, smoke-tinged finish.

Sourced from six treasured plots within the Hoffmann’s ‘Dallwitz’ vineyard from vines planted in 1996, 1995, 1994, 1960, 1927 & the oldest vines planted prior to 1912. A non-vintage assemblage composed of casks from 2022 (49%), 2021 (23%), 2020 (11%), 2019 (8%), 2018 (1%), 2017 (4%), 2016 (2%) & 2015 (2%). 6430 bottles made.

Sami-Odi is no stranger to any wine enthusiast, the meteoric rise of Sami-Odi began in 2018 when his flagship wine, Hoffman Dallwitz 2016 was awarded 2nd place in James Suckling’s Top 100 Wines of Australia, ranking just behind Hill of Grace and beating the likes of Grange, Astralis and The Caley.
